We use a Wireless Router / HiSpeed DSL and iPads @ Home... Just recently we changed our Cellphone from an Android to an iPhone 6... In Settings on the iPhone 6 the. WiFi is saying Weak Security.. Under explanation it reads that WPA is Not Considered Secure.. Configure Router to WPA2 Personal use (AES) Security ?? WHY ?? The iPad is fine ??

WPA was basically a temporary fix to WEP, until WPA2 was agreed upon and the standard released. Unlike WEP and WPA, WPA2 uses the AES standard instead of the RC4 stream cipher. CCMP replaces WPA's TKIP. In essence, better security between device to point.

WPA has been cracked, so it's not useful encryption anymore. https://www.pcworld.com/article/153396/wifi_hacked.html
There's no good reason not to be using WPA2.

The iPad may be fine, but your network is not secure and any neighbor or passerby who wanted to get on your network easily could. Just change your wireless router settings to WPA2 instead.
