Today I set up my airport extreme (old round one), connected to an online livebox.
I set the wireless network up as follows:
    Radiomode: 802.11b/g compatibel
    Channel: Automatic
    Security: WEP-128 bits

To make it work with the livebox I also set the internet to bridgemode.

In this way the internet work perfect.
The only thing is that I want to protect my network with WPA2 or WAP/WPA2, however the thing is that as soon as I select this, and after the airport extreme has rebooted, my internet is gone and I can't connect to the airport extreme again. I have to reset the airport extreme and configure it all again.

Does anyone has a clue what this could be?
The strange thing is that the internet works perfectly on my other devices (appletv, iPhone, ps3). It looks like the iMac doesn't find a dns server.
But if I add everything by hand nothing works either.

    Thanks,

    marc

I don't know what a "livebox" is, but did you ever consider the possibility that it doesn't support WPA2?
