Not sure... I think I preferred the previous 'frowning' design language of Audi (see A2, TT).

Headlights remind me of the new Ford Focus actually. :p

Rinky dink link

Thoughts?

P.S. the p*ssy spoiler is gone too! yey! :D

Wow. That's like a Manga version of the old model, with almond eye shaped headlights. I really like it.

2 bad "zoom zoom zoom" is already used.

but i'm a big Audi & VW fan.
i like it-
i like the new body shape (side profile) - the older one- i was noticing yesterday- looks very similar to the bug -- this one has a more 'sporty' shape imo

would be interested in finding out how it handles compared...etc
or what the new stats really mean- as i am not doing a side by side comparison. etc-

:)
thanks for showing it to us!

I liked these ones better, I think.

The new one looks a bit grown-up. I'm sure it'll be popular with grown-ups for that very reason though. :p

edit: Applespider - great minds again, eh? :p

Looks even more like someone washed a 911 on a too-hot cycle....:D

Look at the back of that, it's 100% Porche.

Prefer the old one, sappy spoiler and all.

I've just re-read the article, the new one has one too... though it hides it until you're going fast enough to probably need it. :p

Wonder what clayj will think???

I'm also thinking that maybe they should've retired the TT name, and come up with a new one for this.

hmm yeah for the front i'm not so sure.. i like the grill but the headlights are kinda "seen before" compared to the original design.. and from the side profile it is obviously looking a lot like a Porsche .. at least that's what i thought of instantly

I'm a big fan of the new grill - and the headlights. I can't tell what the back looks like.

However, I do agree that the old TT was more distinctive. This looks a little too much like the A3 and A4 (both of which I love).

On the plus side, the old TT was underpowered and this should be faster.

Overall I like it a lot. Can I fit two carseats in it?

It looks like they've cut the front 1/3 of a focus and welded it to the back 2/3s of a Porsche

Looks okay..as mentioned before though the front does look like it's borrowed elements from the Focus..!

Kinda freaky isn't it...

cool. I got a postcard in the post from them the otherday :) will have to check it out some time :)

Looks like Jaguar X and S- Type from back, which looks like Ford Contour.

That basically sums it up. I'll withhold any comment until I see the convertible.

I'm gonna guess it'll look much the same but without a roof;) :D

Oog...not a big fan of the front, though the side view is nice.

Much prefered the older one.

I guess the TT brand is too valuable to ditch.

Looks cool, if a little unadventurous (especially when you think of the stir the original one caused).

I hope it goes round corners better than the last one. Any news on engines or will it have the run of the current Audi line-up?

Gah are you kidding? I personally have only driven the AWD Quattro version, but that thing can handle corners insanely well. Though I would assume the FWD one wouldn't be quite as good if thats what you were referring to.
