I have the Clear (dry). It is only offered for the front. There are probably 75 pin head size bubbles that will not go away. Hopefully they will over night. Regarding fit, I just thought it should it to the edge all the way around - not have a reveal on each edge

Do you mean the gasket and the metal part? Oh no, it isn't supposed to stick there. Why?

Because it doesn't use a heavy amount of adhesive to stick it can't be applied to the gasket or the metal part. It just won't stick. That is unless you want residue you need to scratch off.

I also wouldn't suggest stretching it...because it is kind of a klingy adhesive it won't stick anyway then you'll be angry that it peels away.

I don't think any skins that use the klingy light adhisive thing will stick to the gasket or metal. I don't think any skins that use adhesive at all would go around the gasket area for fear that it may pull away when you remove the skin. rofl!

Is this the first skin you've applied or seen applied on an ipad or iPhone? rofl They all seem to have some sort of gasket or plastic holding the glass down.

I have a question for anyone that is familiar with Wrapsol's warranty replacement.

So let's say my iPad 2 has backlight bleeding, but I don't want to exchange it until the problem is fixed in the manufacturing process -- so I wait 2 months.

Still, I install the Wrapsol skin the day I get it. 2 months go by, I rip it off and exchange the iPad 2.

Would Wrapsol send me another copy? Or does me knowingly installing the skins on a product I know I'll exchange in the future negate that?

How is Wrapsol for front??
I recieved my wrapsol for ipad 2 today, and applied backside of the ipad. As i prefer Power Support for Front, but as PS screen protectors are still not available, i will have to wait. I already have a crappy cygnett anti-glare screen temporarily applied, but they dont fit too perfect. Hence i was thinking abt if i should apply wrapsol for front or not in the mean time. Do you recommend.. are they good...??
I did not like wrapsol for front for iphones, is the quality the same??

I posted earlier about how bad it looked after being applied. Well, after 3 days, all of the bubbles disappeared except for 3 where I had pieces of lent get under the screen. Fortunately these are not over the screen itself. I like the protector. I have not had a chance to use it in an sunny outdoor environment however. The other issue I have had is that the stylus does not move smoothly along the surface.

Not Impressed...Disappointed!

I used Wrapsol on my MBP and had no issuses. Purchased the front and back wet for my iPad2 and this experience has been a disappointment! The back went on great without any problems. Fits perfectly, nice and smooth. The front however is a different story. After application, there is a cloudy haze that remains even after all the soulution is removed. Contacted Wrapsol who advised that I wait a few days to allow skin to throughly dry and adhere to screen. I waited a week and unfortunately nothing changed. Cutstomer service sent me a replacement (charged $5.95 for shipping) but same result. I would avoid buying the front cover until Wrapsol can address the hazy cloud that remains after install.

Go through the best skins ever thread..same result.

Maybe there's something intrinsic with the oleophobic coating this time creating issues? Maybe we all started mixing the wrong solution.

I'll be installing my second bse tonight to see if it gets better..after experiencing the exact same thing you describe, and also giving it a week.

I guess that is the reason, PowerSupport is taking time in researching and bringing their product out in the market.
I never use Wrapsol for front. Even if i buy the full body protectors (front + back), but i use only back, and prefer PS for front.

Yes that is what I experienced. They go on bubbles disappear but the stylus use is interrupted. I never use wrapsol on the front.

If you don't use a stylus then wrapsol would be fine.

So, I finally got my wrapsol today but they sent me an ultra front instead of a clean.

I am kind of used to the screen now and I don't really notice the fingerprints as much as I did on the iPad 1

I am wondering if I should bother trying to get them to correct the order or if I should just give the ultra a try.

Has anyone installed a wrapsol clean? How is it for clarity and fingerprint reduction?

Wrapsol was only going to replace it as a standard return and then I had to order a new one. Since it took forever for this one to come, I figured I'd just try the ultra.

It seems like it would be a really nice screen protector if I could get it installed well... I had some hairs and things under the screen protector and the tape-method used to remove hairs, dust, etc. from underneath static-cling type protectors does not work for this one.

Does anyone know of a way to get hairs unstuck from the back of this darn thing? I tried a wet-install but I still ended up with hairs stuck to it. I might try more thoroughly cleaning it off tonight and re-do the wet install, but if that doesn't work I'll have to give up and order an SGP. And it'll have been a waste of $20 :(

I'd suggest getting a replacement from wrapsol because those hairs are not going to come out. When installing these screen protectors do it in the bathroom after leaving the hot water running, the steam will cause all the dust and lint in the air to fall to the ground and you should be good to go. You will have to pay the $5 shipping for the replacement screen protector if you get it thru wrapsol though.

So I paid the extortinate UK shipping charge but I'm glad I did.

When the iPad came out in the US I ordered an invisible shield. I figured I'd have it by the time it came out here. It still hasn't shipped. I also ordered BSE and SGP full body. Neither have arrived yet although they have shipped.

In the end I didn't have a choice with wrapsol shipping but it was FedEx 2 day to the UK and I got it today even though I ordered Monday night.

The back looks amazing. The photos do not so it justice. The matte makes it look like there is no protection there at all and it covers all corners unlike the other companies. It also feels much grippier than the other companies back protectors.

I am very glad I purchased it! And I finally have an amazing looking protected iPad 2.

I've done enough static-cling installs to know that I can't do it without getting any lint caught under the film on the first try. If there's really no way to clean it off, then getting a replacement won't help. I'll just go back to my trusty SGP films.

I received and installed my Wrapsol 'clean' front skin today.

During installation I had 2 small pieces of lint fall on the screen while I was installing it. Once I noticed them, I dipped my finger pads (both hands) into a little bowl of water and peeled back the skin to the trespasser. Then I re-dipped my finger pads (debris removal fingers) in the water and was able to push the lint to the edge of the skin, which enabled me to remove it.

Repeated the procedure for the second piece of debris and it worked as well.

For what its worth, dipping your fingers in water aids the installation process by guaranteeing you do not get any finger prints on the skin itself and water will help in the removal of any debris.

The several hours of have had the clean skin, I am impressed by its ability to reduce glare and keep finger prints down to a bare minimum.

Looking for Wrapsol Original Back Only????? It's nice.

Just got this for my Ipad2. Original front+back, wet installation. Had some issues in the beginning, but got it on perfectly in the end. Just needed a lot of solution on the bottom of the film (so much so that the film slides easily on the screen). Ran out of solution but just added a drop of shampoo/water and worked like a charm. Installed in lightly steamed bathroom to reduce flying dust. Dried out perfectly in a day or so like they said. Best product of it's kind in my opinion.

Clarity is great, smoothness likewise, the back screen in particular, is outstanding as it has a nice matte finish that really brings out the Ipad 2's backside. Adds some additional grip as well. The front is actually really good too. I bought the SGP Ultra Optics, send those back, got SGP Crystal Clear, sent those back as well. Wrapsol beats them hands down in my view. The thing about SGP was the tactile finish, it just wasn't a pleasant experience swiping the screen with their products. There was this annoying zipping sound with the ultra optics that just didn't sit well. The crystal clear was nice, better swiping and all but too many fingerprints. Wrapsol's front, however, feels almost like the original glass underneath, which is what I wanted in the first place. Great thick protection that really makes me feel confident and safe. Clarity, again, is almost like having nothing there. Fingerprints are reduced considerably as well. Overall, very nice and valuable buy. Hope this helps guys.

Also, ff anybody is looking for a Wrapsol Back-Only Original film, I've got a brand new one (extra since I ordered a replacement). I'll gladly trade for a Original
front since I'd rather have an extra front than back. E-mail or pm me if this sounds good. Still have the original box and accessories as well. If you don't have the front, we can work something out if you're looking to buy the back only.
