I used to wear my watch twenty three hours a day until I noticed the skin beneath the watch sensors looked red so I now ‘rest’ my wrist by not wearing it whilst I’m in bed.
Has anyone else noticed this? The skin isn’t sore or raised at all.

That is nothing to be alarmed about. That looks common for someone wearing a smart watch that long. Mine looks the same and I wear my watch 23 hours a day.

Nothing to worry about as said, as long as there are no bubbles, pain in touching this area or extremely red area it’s ok.
It’s from pressure coming from sensors under AW.
