I have a question regarding writing/transferring data from a HFS+ MBP HD to an external NTFS formatted HD. Through Mac OS X (10.4.11 more specifically) I can only read NTFS, but cannot add/delete files from it. I usually boot into Windows XP using Bootcamp and use MacDrive to transfer files from Mac OS to my external HD. However, Windows XP has crashed and at the moment, I cannot boot into it and transfer data from Mac OS to Windows. Are there any programs will make it possible to write onto my NTFS external HD through Mac OS X? Thanks for your help!

Thanks. I installed the 2 Applications and tried using the tutorial from http://www.lifehack.org/articles/li...write-ntfs-windows-partition-on-mac-os-x.html
However, I was not able to unmount my Windows HD and it did not allow me to continue. Also, I tried doing the same with my external HD and I could not do it also. I'm new to this, so any help or guides on this matter will be greatly appreciated!

Also, after I rebooted my MBP after installing NTFS-3G, both the Windows and external HD icons disappeared on my desktop.
