Where have Apple Intelligence writing tools gone? Admittedly I don’t use it often, but have just gone to use it and the menu has completely disappeared when highlighting text.

I’m in the UK and using Siri AI without issue.

Writing tools are not working when Siri is enabled. I turned off Siri and the writing tools appeared.

Looks like a bug. My region and language is US and English. So it’s not a Region issue.

I don't think it's a bug. Writing Tools are now built into Siri. Just ask Siri to fix your grammar, and she will do so along with all the other things Writing Tools offered.

As it is now Siri is not an adequate replacement for writing tools. It was quick and easy to tap Proofread and then have it replace the text if acceptable. Now you have to type in the request, and don’t make it a combined request. I made the mistake of asking it to correct grammar and punctuation. That threw it for a loop finally returning some error message. Tried again asking it to correct grammar only and it got it right that time. I know, early days, but for this purpose not a viable replacement, yet.

Writing Tools are back in beta 2.

Thanks for posting this. I just turned it back on to check. It did not work the way I expected, but I found the options at the bottom of the screen. I will have to get used to it, but it’s a welcome change.

I am not seeing writing tools. If I write in messages and tap to bring up the menu all I see is the Siri symbol which brings up Siri Ai
This is from my iPad Pro. I just wrote some gibberish in a new email and highlighted it. You don’t have to tap anything; you should see these options at the bottom of the screen. They can be missed if you’re not looking.
