I'm new to the iPod Touch but it changes the date, by itself, to one month ahead of the current date. That's all. Same day of the month, same time, but one month ahead. It has nothing to do with syncing with the pc. And, of course, when the date is wrong, apps on it just won't respond properly. No tv listings; even the app store won't connect.

It can happen WHILE I'm holding it. I can reset the right month and 30 seconds later it will change again. Could one of the apps be the cause? I see no way to disable automatic time/date settings in any of the apps.

Anyone help here? Thanks.

Have you tried backing everything up and resetting?
