wrong verision?

So my brother bought XP to use with bootcamp/leopard on his MBP and he bought this verisison and it said it won't work. On the disk it says upgrade but on the box it says for computers with out windows. God i HATE windows

If you do have an upgrade cd then you need to have a previous version installed. There is a way to get around that. When it tells you it cannot find a previous version of windows you need to put in a Full windows cd. As soon as it passes that screen you can put the upgrade CD back in.

Other then that not much you can do.

Does the box has a banner in the corner that says upgrade?

we went back to best buy and it was indeed the wrong disk. another reason to hate windows 😛
