I am looking to buy an external raid 5 setup. I would like to buy it slowly so I want to start with a case. I want to access the drives through the network. and I also want to hook it up to my mini. Could I do this cheaper if I just hook it up via firewire to my mini and access it through the mini from the network?. I am looking for just the enclosure right now. Does anyone know an good companies for something like this? I can get my own hard drives.
