wtb serial port

Wondering if anyone has tried to hook up a usb > 9pin serial adapter to the camera kit on the ipad.

Or even bluetooth rs232 adapters.

My ultimate goal is to console into a cisco device via ipad so i can travel even lighter than i already do.

Apple probably didn't put the required drivers into the iPad for those. An expensive solution is a wifi to RS232 bridge unit, like: WiSnap

I've used it, along with the "Raw Telnet" mode in iSSH to make a terminal emulator on the iPad.

I think I saw a universal serial port adapter at the Smithsonian gift shop.
