WTF? ATT cancelled my order

    Was able to pre order an iPhone 6 on ATT when they started taking orders and got the email confirming it would be delivered on 09/19. However I just got another email from them saying they are cancelling my order since I exceeded the maximum number of lines of service allowed for online purchase. WTF!!!!!

    Why not just pre-order it Apple.com right now? It still will arrive on release day.

    You are leaving out the info on if you DID exceed the number of lines.

    How could I exceed the number of lines? I have two lines, one for me and one for my wife. Both eligible for upgrade. I pre ordered the iPhone 6 Plus for my line and got confirmation it will ship in 21 to 28 business days. I pre ordered a iPhone 6 for my wife and got confirmation it would be delivered on 09/19. Now they sent an email canceling her order because I exceeded the number of lines. I have 2 lines. Both are eligible for upgrade. I pre ordered 2 phones, 1 for each line. Am I missing something?

    Youre dealing with ATT. And you expect sanity and good customer service?
    That's your problem.

    At lest they gave you a reason even if it i a ************ one. Apparently i got my preorder cancel even though the status says processing pending confirmation but I got my upgrade eligibility back. 1 hour with them over the phone and they still don't know why it got reversed.

    You are only allowed to have a certain number of lines.

    If there is a problem you can contact them.

    Both orders still show active on my ATT account. I will stop by a ATT store today and cancel both. I was finally able to place orders on the Apple Store. The 6 delivers on 09/19 and the 6 Plus in 3 to 4 weeks. I should never have ordered on ATT but the Apple Store page did not load for 3 hours on my computer.

    Have 2 lines for years. Ordered a new phone for each. :eek:
