iPod touch WTF? iPod Touch has its own mind! Set Own Passcode

Ok something very stange happend to my iPod Touch (3g) Ok So my iPod was lagging and moving really slow so i turned it off and a few minutes later I turned it on and it has an Alpha Passcode!? I am positive 200% sure that Idid not have a passcode on it before i restarted, plus I wouldnt do an alpha passcode. I tried my apple id password and regular passwords I would use but it didnt work! Please help!!! 😕

This doesn't make any sense -- it CAN'T set its own passcode.

Could someone else in your family (say... a small child who is learning his/her numbers) have set it?
