Hi! Phone was fine, locked it and a couple of minutes later this happened... everything still worked, and upon reboot it was gone, but still... WTF??


Edit: This "magic rectangle" was also featuring in the home screen, and in any other app for that matter. Also btw, face id failed because I had a 6 plus in front of my face.

it's a content magnifier for people who can't see very well.
you can turn it off in
Settings-> General-> Accessibility-> Zoom

OMG! Thanks, I feel so stupid now. I wonder how I managed to double-three-finger tap with the phone in my jeans pocket though.

I am not sure why it comes on to begin with, it happened to me a few times since I got the X.
