So I was feeling a little down on myself for having a brand new 13 inch Macbook Pro with some spotlight LED bleeding at the bottom of the display (in a dark room, with brightness on max, with a black background). So I decided to check out my aunt's recently purchased Macbook Pro 13, and did the same check. Look at what showed up. This, btw, is after I cleaned the monitor thoroughly, everything appears to be below the glass.

I certainly feel better about mine now. And the 9CC5 (mine) is noticeably brighter than 9CCB (hers). More powerful LEDs probably add to the spotlight issue.

if its under warranty get it repaired for free. I had a similar prob with an iMac 27" which was resolved with repair.

There is a thin film layer between the glass & lcd which can become clouded if it not air tight & only will get worse.
