okay, so i installed leopard yesterday...and everything went fine..installation was a success and i was using it for about an hour or two when i then decided to update my Bootcamp beta into the full version, so i switched to windows, installed the new mac drivers and when it was finished it said "successful installation blah blah blah..click finish"

only problem was, my keyboard on my laptop wasnt working at all, and my bluetooth mouse wasn't working at all, so i just clicked the power button and shut it down

so then i restart back into windows to make sure it all works...and it does...so i click the brightness button on my laptop and then all of a sudden the screen turns white on my laptop and samsung displays, and then restarts...next thing i know..in windows AND in leopard...my **** looks like this on my laptop!

but whats weird is that, when i do expose>all windows, the wallpaper looks normal, but the windows on the screen are still f'd up...... and also if i take a screen shot of it...it comes out looking normal on my samsung monitor

SO WTF DID I DO?!!?! lol and how can i fix it?! i hope someone can answer cuz this is killing me!

How bizarre! I'm thinking it's the video card or the screen... but I hope I'm wrong.

wait, it looks normal when you do expose?

It's not the video card.Otherwise it would extend to the external LCD.The samsung monitor looks almost normal to me.

I suspect the driver.It's using 16 bit color instead of 32 bit.somehow.

Have you tried to change the wallpaper to a solid dark/light color?

Zap the PRAM. Restart the computer, and by the time you here the chime, hold down the Apple, Option, P, and R keys, until you hear the computer chime again (in fact, let it go two or three times). Then let it start up normally and see if it persists.

If that doesn't work, try resetting the firmware. Again, restart the computer, holding down the Apple, Option, O, and F keys. When it comes up with the white screen with text on it, type "reset-all" (without the quotes) and hit enter. The computer will restart, and see if it works then.

If neither of those work, then you'll have to hope it's not hardware (though it doesn't sound like it).

I dont think open firmware has anything to do with a macbook pro ;-)

that's crazy...
could it have something to do with the display settings and colors instead of it set to millions. What's weird is that its only on the aura part/pinkish and not the black part...

^nah i checked the colors...everythings fine, and like i said, when i take a screenshot of it it looks completely normal =/
