I just bought a new computer and as soon as I installed itunes and turned on the internet someone's shared library just appeared in my itunes?! Why/how did this happen?

not a big deal, i think someones probably just using ur internet connection as well. And if your on a mac why did you have to install iTunes? Shouldn't it have already been there?

iTunes has built Bonjour sharing of your iTunes Library. I believe it is off by default, but it searches by default for shared libraries. This is quite handy to see what sort of music you might be interested by seeing what people on your network listen to. I use it all the time at college to find new music, since the radio stations are horrible.
