WTF? my batter just dropped 20% in one day..???!?

i had 81% max as of yesterday and now i'm down to 58%? i don't get it.

my computer is 21 months old, and i have 179 cycles on the batt.

what's the problem?

Take your MBP to the applestore, make a reservation for the genius bar...They can run a test on the battery to see if it's wearing normally.

what's the problem?

A few possibilities:

1) You used the computer, so the battery went down. 🙄
2) You had the computer in sleep mode, so the battery went down. Battery tends to decrease 1 or 2 % per hour in sleep mode I find. Perfectly normal.
3) Something is wrong with the battery.
