I just checked the Usage panel in the General Settings and my iPhone 4 says I've sent 4 gigs and received 4 gigs over the past week when I've never even used over 200 megs in a single month. To add to this, I have cellular data turned off for the whole phone!!! This better be a bug or there will be some damn good bitching from me.

That's total data, not monthly data. If you upgraded from an older iphone, it also includes that data too.

This iPhone 4 is 4 months old and I just reset the usage statistics last week so it is not the cumulative total.

Post a screen shot. I think you've had nothing to bitch about in the last week so you took this from one of the vzw threads. There's another one that says the same thing. You're on AT&T. Do us all a favor and move on to another site. Troll

Pwned

My iPhone says the same thing... 4GB sent, 4GB received.
Received it this past Monday (on Verizon.) Can't believe it's that high...

This is a common bug in iOS.

Nothing to worry about.

I'd reset the usage meter (button at the bottom of the screen).

It looks just like what the previous person posted in this thread except on a different carrier and I reset the stats last week.

I haven't even been on any of the Verizon threads. And if there are other posts that show the same bug, then it shows that there is a bug in the iPhone where it's counters easily get corrupted.

You're on AT&T.

Wrong again, I'm in Canada.

Do us all a favor and move on to another site. Troll

That's a personal attack.

wow, jump to conclusions and down folks' throats much?:rolleyes:

If one were to look at the threads started by SomeDudeAsking, one would see that the comment wasn't too far off. So with that said,

Jump to conclusions and down folks' throats much? ;)
I've looked at his threads. Still don't think it warranted that. And, as we see, others have had his same experience.

cheers.
