I must say that since Transformers isn't currently available on blu-ray, and I only have a 720P tv, and it's my favorite movie ever, it influence my :apple:TV purchase to some degree. I know that they used to have transformers HD download, but did they get rid of it?! I was kinda disapopinted last night when I went to download my first HD movie to watch on my AppleTV, the lack of transformers was disappointing enough, but their selection is really lacking, maybe it's just the current slew of movies that are out right now, but I was unimpressed to say the least.

With such lack-of-content issues with the HD Movie Rentals, why on earth would they get rid of some titles? And on top of that, Transformers?!?! That's an incredibly popular HD title!

Looking.... hmmm, you're right - not there anymore.

That was the first HD rental in my AppleTV - was really, really cool. Well worth owning an AppleTV.

Unfortunately, Apple has an agreement with the studios and the studio may pull a movie from downloads after a certain time.

The studio is fast preparing for the Blu-ray debut, which they probably want people to buy, instead of rent the HD download.

Sorry... :(

I actually decided to keep my HD-DVD Player after Blu-Ray "won", mainly because of my Transformers HD DVD. :p

Just FYI though, it will be out on Blu-Ray in September. :)

Ha can't believe that happened! When will they stop selling the HD version? Until it's sold out?

The whole movie is gone...how weird...it was also my first HD rental and looked and sounded awesome!

The Bourne Ultimatium is also gone, which is distributed by Universal while Transformers is Paramount, so I am not sure what is going on. Doesn't seem to be a studio thing.
