WTH is this mystery device in iMac??

    iMac G5 first version.

    I was looking for the BlueTooth module.

    I find something else that looks like a wireless module, but its neither BT or WiFi, so WTH is it??

    IN the below image what is the black taped item partly under the Wi-Fi card?? The Wi-Fi is on upper-center, BT is bottom, slightly left (4 copper squares).
    (printing on it has government tele-com labels all over it)

    Damm, been so long, completely forgot that possibility!

    From top to bottom, Airport card, dialup modem (covered in black), Bluetooth.

    Yep. Especially since there's a two conductor RJ-11 connector right there in your picture
    :)

    Wow... A modem. Haven't seen one of those in a long time. :p Really!
