You can find it on the Apple events podcast on iTunes, I'd give you the link but I'm too scared to even open the iTunes store atm lol

yeah, but what event was it released at? i know it was before wwdc 2007, but i dont remember the event.

mciarlo - we're all here because this is the one guaranteed place on the internet there won't be spoilers. Or so we thought. Please, don't spoil it for everyone. If you want to start a new thread on the main forum laughing at us for being losers.. do that. But don't ruin it for everyone here having fun :(

F***, my ******* MSFT-fan friends are threatening to ruin it for me... I'm cutting myself off from all communication except for this thread.

G-D, please give me the last laugh by having them announce some kickass products that will finish Microsuck once and for all!

Yeah, I bet it only weighs like a pound too.
I worked a bike race this last weekend, with challenge check-points like eating a hot dog as fast as you can and walking backwards for 30 feet with an egg in a spoon, and I got really jealous of the rich folks with their expensive super-light-weight bikes.

But there's still no way I'd ever spend more than a couple hundred bucks on just a frame. I'm very happy with my '74 Peugeot frame. It just sucks to find parts that fit the french sizes...

But back to the matter at hand... WHERE'S THE STREAM!?!

I hear ya dude. But I think it balances itself out. The super MEGA speed machines costing 10 grand (some higher some lower) are really made for the athletes competing. And most of them have sponsors helping them with costs. However, I don't see myself spending only $200.00 bucks for a frame unless you want a fixie to ride around the city or for commuting. I fall somewhere in between that range and I usually go for the carbon bikes for about 2 grand. I think thats a decent compromise.

Good luck bigmac. I accidently read something when I quoted mciarlo response to ask him to stop. God Damn it. I really hate people sometimes :(

I too have silenced all my communications, including my girlfriend

I CAN NOT AND WILL NOT sleep till i have seen Phil.. period.

I removed my posts. I didn't mean to cause a stir. I thought putting them in white was appropriate. Lesson learned.

If it was a genuine mistake. Fair enough - and thank you for taking the trouble to delete your posts so they won't ruin it for any one else. But dude, FYI for next keynote.. the key is in the title of the thread SPOILER FREE :)

Lesson learned? You're posting spoilers in a thread titled "WWDC 2009 Spoiler Free Keynote Stream". What part of that seemed appropriate to you?

A common technique by the professionals. I think it has something to do with the air resistance flowing over the front section and then having the back wheel deal with it.
There are other reasons too but mostly thats why I think. I'm no expert though.

If you close the front wheel, wind will push on the wheel and you'll crash, you can't have air resistance on an unloaded front wheel that you steer with. The rear wheel can be closed because your weight is on it, it won't move. The front wheels on TT bikes have "blades" that will cut the air but not risk any steering issues.

As for TT bikes, those other ones are sexy, but I'll have to go with the American engineering, a Trek Equinox TTX 9.9 SSL or Specialized S-Works Transition.

The thousands or so readers of this specialized thread is very VERY agitated at the moment. Almost anything can set us off. Especially spoilers! You'll have kindergarten teachers come at you with a knife kinda agitated so be careful.

6 hrs since the keynote started... this has to be the slowest upload of the stream i've seen in a long time.

Last years WWDC was up about 2hrs after... it's now 3hrs. Come on Apple, break out the Xserve farms to encode it dammit! :D

It's been 4 hours since the keynote ended, yet the stream isn't up yet. What's taking so long?

Hows about the creme de la creme of road biking speed machines?

The 2009 BMC TIME MACHINE TT01 !!!!!!!

EDIT: Time machine indeed! That thing looks like it can cause a tear in the space time continuum.

Dude, did you just confess a murder to us?
...We'll I guess if she was trying to spoil it for you, you could claim self defence and hope for Apple fans in the jury :D

of the people who were here 5 hours ago, what percentage chance were you then of looking at apples site and what percentage are you now.

I was 10% and now 40%

That $1 Billion Server farm in North Carolina better be going primarily to increase encoding speeds for these streams... THEY NEED IT!
