WWDC 2010 June 7th

Many sites out there have mobile sites that detect when you're on a mobile device. Some of them will link you to the mobile version of the exact page you were trying to read. Others (like this site) are lazy and just send EVERY request to the mobile site's home page.

So linking to ANY page on that site will take you to http://m.digitaljournal.com if you are on a phone or iPad. Mac and Windows users will be taken to the correct page.

Needless to say, these sites all suck, but you need to know all about it so you don't go blaming message board posters for problems created by web developers.

Well I guess I might be wrong..
I guess last year it was on the Monday.. So maybe that is how it will work this year too.
 
I'm so stoked for this, it's nice and early and hopefully the new iPhone hardware will be available early as well. I'm itching to get my hands on it.

If it's not shipping on the same day as the keynote (highly unlikely) then it won't be shipping the following day either. One to two weeks after most likely though.

OS 4.0 will probably be out on a Wednesday, two days before the new iPhone, just like they did with 3.0 and the 3GS. So if the new phone comes out on the 18th or 25th, 4.0 will be out oit on the 16th or 23rd.

It'll be released on a Friday, just like the last three. Hopefully the 18th, maybe the 25th.

It's odd that AT&T would block June for vacation if it's coming out in the middle of the month. Perhaps it'll be released on the 11th with the 4.0 public release the following Wednesday, the 16th. That'll keep some load off the activation severs too, so it'll be better for the new phone launch.
 
can't wait to get the new iPhone... kinda bummer the surprise is ruined... hey at least the police isn't breaking into my house confiscating my computers :p
