I have to say, having filled out all my hardware requirements for the foreseeable future, I’m more excited for WWDC and the demo of the new iOS, watchOS, macOS and tvOS than I am of the September iPhone event.

Refreshing our existing devices and giving them new functionality is core to Apple’s appeal.

Remember that before Apple’s annual and FREE Mac and iOS updates, Windows came out with a refresh about every 3 or so years and you had to pay hundreds of dollars for it! Your phones’ UI never changed during their entire lifetime. How you bought them was how they’d be until you replaced them with something new.

I’m really excited for iOS for iPad. I’m this close to replacing my Mac with my iPad Pro full time. The few missing gaps like connected drives in the Files app and better multi tasking, are expected in this next version. More independence for watchOS and a more refined UI are also welcome.

Looks great, wish I was there.... Love the idea of the stores streaming it for folks that want to watch.

They killed support for iTunes and all i got was this lousy t-shirt....

Um. Not even that, unless we're devs at the WWDC.

I sure do like the jackets though. I need to prowl through contacts and find someone who's there, sees the jackets online this afternoon, doesn't like them and hasn't checked in yet so I can specify the color to bring back for me.

ok I need one of those jackets... Too bad I'm sure they will be worth a lot

Keep an eye on eBay, every year this type of paraphernalia ends up on eBay for sale after the WWDC keynote, obviously the consideration being you will pay a premium if you really want it. Some of the jackets/shirts are actually really unique on their own.

Excellent idea for those hell bent on getting one. I'm way too cheap... although I did once shell out an outrageous $45 for some Starbucks city mug I broke my copy of and was determined to lay hands on again.

On these jackets I'll settle for screen grabs, admire them for awhile and they'll land in my miscellaneous e-archives long before the next cool Apple special-event handouts come along. Heck I'm old enough now that I'm supposed to be in de-clutter mode 24/7 anyway. Still if you think I can part with my iPod socks or the shopping bag the first iPhone came in...

Sweet jacket.

Looks like they make the classic OS icon shirt in black now too. May need to track it down assuming it’s not WWDC swag.

That’s not Tim Cook. It’s a customized pin for the attendee.

You’re one of those people who are so ready to criticize Tim Cook for anything that everything you see is skewed to be an attack on Cook.

Dude, your confirmation bias is showing and you’ve been outed.

Glad someone pointed it out lol.

So this is why your Mac now costs twice as much (inflation adjusted) as it did 10 years ago. Enjoy your jacket guys, courtesy of my wallet.

Really digging that jacket...

I was hoping they used a brand name jacket and just customized it for WWDC but I'm not seeing any tags anywhere. They must have made it themselves.
