With so few software leaks, this’ll either be full of terrific surprises….
Or very dull.
I'm hoping Cook has finally locked it down. It may have been easier to keep things secret working remotely as there are fewer instances of meeting up with people in person to leak information. Sometimes it's hearsay that gets passed down that way instead of something obvious like directly emailing a reporter or something, which employees are not likely to do from a work machine. Even so, some stuff has leaked.

I think them unveiling some things early like lossless audio and having a separate event for some Apple Music related stuff combined with the most recent rumor that there won't be much in the way of hardware means it's going to be pretty jam-packed full of software updates. Furthermore some things got cancelled last minute due to covid last year that were rumored to be close to finished and needed more refinement, so we should see more than usual because of that.

It's happening, etc, also cue outrage over lack of hardware announcements and 80% of keynote being devoted to Messages updates.

Here is my prediction. Lots of talk about the M1 and how the M1 MacBooks are having record sales, a passing mention on the new iMacs, lots of talk about the iPhones and iPads, but then NO NEW Mac HARDWARE.

All I really want from the keynote is for Apple to spend a chunk of it detailing how they have made major advancements to iPadOS.

Really not that interested in anything else as it would appear that macOS & iOS will just be getting a bit of spit & polish this year.

Really hoping for Magic Mouse 3 with magsafe and the ability to use the mouse while charging.

Actually, an announcement of multi-platform iMessage support would be pretty exciting, especially if it's combined with security and ways to do things that you see through apps like WeChat. A secure, private version of WeChat would be a big hit, and might fit in with some of the rumors of Apple taking Facebook on.

I'm hoping to see what homeOS is supposed to be...if the new alliance for home automation is resulting in Apple supporting all of the variety of products out there then that's pretty exciting.

as silly as the design is and was balked at when it came out, it really isn't as big of a deal as it seemed to be.

It's like Apple doesn't want anyone using it wired, ever, intentionally, rather than an oversight. A bit of a pretentious one but oh well- The battery life lasts insanely long

This has yet to show up on the one place that matters and where I want to watch it on: my new Apple TV 4k…

The TV app on my iPhone has had a WWDC live stream tile for 30 minutes already.

//EDIT: Showed up at last

Anyone notice that if viewing in the Apple TV app that it’s using Dolby Atmos with AirPods? I can tell when I move my head.

I really hope this isn't going to be all about Mimoji - I couldn't care less about them...

I can’t hold back from sleep any longer. Celebrate for me if a Mac below 1500 is announced or the iPad becomes properly usable with 120hz support with an external monitor.

Maybe we will hear about the new Mac mini pro's and the new small pro towers for those who still want to do some upgrading of computers.

Also how do you participate in the messages for the intro that’s pretty dope

I wonder what the iPad forum is going to look like after this event? I might just keep out of there for a few days.

So much focus on Animoji and iMessage I hope that’s not the only main focus
