"We made automation even easier on iOS" you mean you you locked it down and made it useless. This doesn't look hopeful for macOS customization, or even macOS existing as much more than a glorified version of iOS for Mac. Made the UI similar to iOS, now we're having a "multi-year transition", can't wait for Terminal to be removed because "you don't need it, use Shortcuts!"

I thought a lot of rumors pointed to a UI overhaul. Which is desperately needed. The kiddy Fisher-Price toy looking home screen is getting very dated.

rumours =/= reality. 9/10 it's people voicing their wants as rumours.

Hmmmm no looks like you can fit far fewer tabs on the screen. Oh well, I've moved on to Firefox since Apple refused to fully implement Web Extensions.
