WWDC 2021 - Would You Consider a 17" M1X/ M2 MBP?

To answer the actual question - screen size alone is not a huge feature to me any more. If it otherwise ticks all the boxes, I might be tempted to return to a 17 or 18 again, but that would depend a lot on the specifics - I'm not going to order a hypoethtical 17" ridiculously thin Air over a 16" high end pro, just because it has a bigger screen.

It’s an interesting point. I would not be interested in a 17 inch air either, I think the assumption is that it would be a high-end machine, at least equal to the 16 inch, perhaps even more capable.
They could do it with a combo of a slightly larger case and a slightly smaller bezel to get that extra inch.
17 inches is a thing of beauty and I dream of the day they bring it back. Hopefully some day but no signs of that tomorrow.
17/18" is too big and too small for me.
Too big to easily carry around back and forth to work, use on an airplane, etc.
Too small when at a desk. Display small compared to 24" to 27" monitor.
For me, a better match is a smaller and lighter system (13"/14") to carry around, and an external monitor and keyboard on a desk.

The fact that there's so few replies compared to even the silliest WWDC gossip thread, says enough about the interest for a 17", IMHO
