Apple's WWDC 2022 begins today, with the event kicking off at 10:00 am Pacific Time via the traditional opening keynote. We know that some MacRumors readers who can't follow the event as it's being broadcast are interested in avoiding all of the announcements and waiting until the event video is available for on-demand viewing so as to experience it without already knowing the outcome.

For those individuals, we've posted this news story, which will be updated with a direct link to the presentation once it becomes available from Apple. No other news stories or announcements will be displayed alongside this story.

Apple's recent virtual events have been made available to view almost immediately following the conclusion of the broadcasts, and we expect similar timing for today's event.

Users waiting for the video to be posted are welcome to gather in the thread associated with this news story, and we ask that those who follow the events as they occur refrain from making any posts about Apple's announcements in this thread.

Update: The full video is available on Apple's website as a direct link to the video file with no spoilers.

Nice to have a spoiler-free video stream available for those who may want it.

No, a new release of macOS has just become a huge hassle and I waste a lot of time making things work again. Plus in the last 2 years the earlier betas have been super buggy.
I'm sorry you had to go through that. I'm hoping and praying, this year will be different and Apple will shift it's focus on fixing the bugs. Fingers are crossed. There is hope!

The cringe factor is off the charts with this WWDC. Can't watch it anymore.

I'm not watching right now but yes, the cringe has grown since Steve passed. He definitely kept the cringe to a minimum. I miss him so much. Craig brings the biggest cringy moments.

Yeah but he’s such a “dad” character that I don’t mind!

Really hoping this WWDC is the one where we get a more useful iPadOS. Been waiting to change my old iPad for ages depending on what the software is like. If they find way to make it more useful, I might go Pro, otherwise I’m thinking mini.

I really don’t get the hype over AR or VR - couldn’t care less if it’s about that stuff.

Safe to look now - it just says a replay will be available shortly.

Actually want to watch this only for iOS reveal. Usually I read the Feed to get highlights but realized I want to be entertained with the script again

Although I’m now a whole lot less enthused knowing it’s “cringe”.

THAAAAaanks, lol. 🤣

I really wish they would sort out the ridiculous audio levels problem where the music in the transitions is 10x louder than the dialog. Happens every single one of these digital events.

I've been trying to avoid any spoilers this whole day because I'm at work and was planning to watch the video when I got home. But I went on YouTube just now and saw something. I gasped out loud and closed the tab so fast. lol

I'm not even sure if what I saw was fan made and was a video of what they were hoping to see at today's presentation.

Can this post be updated with a YouTube link as well if/when it becomes available, please?
