If there's going to be little in the way of exciting announcements and we're getting mostly renaming and reskinning, then I can only hope this is a "bug fix" year. It would be nice to see stabilization of the OSes and less emphasis on AI and features that don't exist yet.

I’m really torn. I really want them to give the Music app a meaningful update for the first time in years, but I’m terrified that if/when they do get instead of adding new features that I want they’ll replace existing features with AI nonsense that I hate.

Another year where I miss the "crazy ones" and the ones with crazy eyes - Forstall and Serlet.

HOnestly, only thing that will save this boring software update driven WWDC is IF ipad can behave like mac.. and we all know that is just pipe dream that will never realize. I have never felt so not excited about WWDC like this in a long time.

iPads being multi-user is long overdue. These devices are often shared within a family. So in that respect, I wish iPad's were more like Macs....

I'm not the only one who thinks that Tim Cook's leadership has made Apple simply stop... there is no news, there is no innovation... in short, the brand has become boring and dull.
So creating the “M” series chips that brought Intel to its knees isn’t innovation? A company that has defined and created products other companies are lucky to achieve once in their lifetimes? Get real!

Please spend 5 minutes or more on TVOS and Apple Music. As a Samsung user (I also use macs and Homepod), that's really what I care about the most.

I guess I also care what Ipad OS is, but I barely use the features on Ipad OS and don't really know what they are.

When I joined y’all 15 (!) years ago, this was so much fun. I kinda miss that. Grumpy bunch here today, or maybe I’m just an old man fanboy. Meh. I still like to see what’s in the making so I’ll sit and enjoy all by myself.

Good hardware does no good when the software has so many bugs and such poor usability.

While I agree...I unfortunately don't think this will happen at least in a very long time. I personally would love to be able to have multiple accounts even if it is only 2 (not that I am pitching a limit). Being able to do multiple accounts would hurt the bottom line of just having one for everyone and that everything is shared already with shared purchases etc. though it would be much better to have everything separated on the same device simply by user.

Ok - we'll give him that.

That's one thing.
(a big thing, no question ... but just one thing)

Just an observation. Man, people complain about anything and everything Apple does. They be miserable in their day to day.

Am I the only video editor left shouting into the void for a 2025 M4/M5 Ultra Mac Pro announcement—or if the scattered rumors about an AI server class chip are true, the M4X or whatever silly name they come up with?

If an update isn't announced today then M3 Ultra Mac Studio it is, because projects need to get finished ASAP, but it'll hurt my heart when an M5 Max in a MacBook Pro smokes it in CPU and GPU scores in 4 months. At the same time I just don't feel comfortable with putting significant rendering load on a laptop and hearing the jet engine fans take off over and over, but no guarantees when the Studio gets its next update either.

Apple Watch? This was released under Cook, best selling watch ever. Also Vision Pro…. Some may say it’s a failure because it didn’t sell well. When Apple themselves stated it was tomorrow’s technology today. If you haven’t tried it it’s truly amazing. New iterations will become more refined and reasonably $.
