Ok.. so the hype is building, and WWDC is less than 4 days away. We all know that the 3G iPhone is being introduced... duh. I'm not here to debate what features, form factors, and functions it will have.. etc.
However, I do want to hear your interpretation of this years slogan: "A landmark event.. in more ways than one." As you know, apple usually hides bits of information in these banners, e.g. : "There's something in the air.." , macbook air.

What do you think this year's banner means?

Though it is far fetched, and WWDC is obviously a developer conference, I think it might signal the introduction of 2 new devices this monday. 1. The 3G iPhone of course, and 2. a MacTablet.. maybe.

Maybe it means:

1. just the Mac OSX Developer Track and the iPhone Developer track

or

2. the 3G iPhone and iPhone Nano. (much less likely IMO), I don't see the success of a full product line of iPods transferring to the iPhone. The amount of features that would need be sacrificed to reasonably spawn an "iPhone Nano" would inherently take away it's lure of being a "convergance device.")
just my opinion..

Thoughts? Criticisms? Interpretations of your own?
