For giggles I want to read the WWDC news on my old PowerBook. What’s the best source for either non-https or something I can feed through the frogfind proxy?
 
PowerBook G3? A G4 PowerBook should just be able to fetch it directly using PowerFox.

I don't think you're going to find any HTTP sources for this kind of information.

If you're running Leopard, you could check out my Mastodon client - maybe Wired or The Verge federate their live updates.

edit: sorry, I didn't see the "system 8/9" in the title... I see PowerBook, my mind jumps to G4. 😛

Frogfind may be able to pull it up! Go to Frogfind on any old browser and search for any articles. Many will load in plain text.
