Any ideas, anyone?

I'm in the same boat as all of you. Whenever I try to view it from IE, Safar, Camino, Quicktime Player. The application just freezes and thinks forever. I eventually have to force quit the program.

It doesn't freeze on me, it just times out. If anyone has any ideas, please say so! I really want to see whatever Apple has to offer in this video.

It now works for me. It could be the combination of 10.2.5 and Safari 1.0b2 or it could just be that the server is performing correctly now.

The video seems fine to me. It's a low budget conference hype video. I've seen dozens of them and they all present themselves in the same way. It does have some transitions but just at the point where you're falling asleep it makes a brutal jump. I think they do those jumps on purpose. I've seen them in a lot of thes advertisements. Like I said I think there there to keep you awake.

Let's go with the next gen chips! Sheeeesh!!

I wish people would just calm down some. The current hardware isn't that bad. NO, it will not keep up with the fastest PCs but for %99 of the computere users in the world that doesn't matter and they have no need for that speed.

I must have missed this

But an apple tech just told me that panther will be released next month to the public.

I think maybe he meant a release as in a public announcement not necessarily a saleable item.

I love how they timed it to conflict with MacWorld or whatever they are calling it. Who on earth will travel to the WWDC and then back again a week or two later for MacWorld. I bet they even lose a lot of journalists (MacWorld that is).

Yeah, except WWDC is the Worldwide Developers' Conference. Sure there's a press section for the opening talk, but they don't stick around for the whole week (unless they want to pay the conference fee for some reason). Not the kind of thing you'd be flying journalists around the country for.
