It's true, Apple hasn't ever announced a new Macbook (Pro) model at a WWDC (at least to my knowledge). But that was under the management of Steve Jobs.

New management = new methods of product release? This seems to make sense. We'll just to wait and see though- this year is about getting to know Tim Cook's 'style' of running Apple.

MBPs have a decent chance of releasing at WWDC. I know it's been said hundreds of times, but i just wanted to give a different perspective on the whole matter.

They were updated at WWDC 2009. That's when the antiglare screen option, the 1000 cycle batteries, and the 13" MBP (previously was just the Aluminum Macbook) were announced.

I mean a major update. As in a redesign. That update was akin to a spec bump.
