WWE Network was brought to Canada in an exclusive agreement with Rogers cable. Why is it that it's available for subscription on an AppleTV localized to Canada and on a Canadian Apple ID?

I'm afraid of subscribing and losing my money if it IP blocks content because Rogers has exclusive rights. Shouldn't this be omitted from the Canadian AppleTV app store? Has anybody tried subscribing in Canada?

I called Rogers and inquired. They didn't give me a straight answer. They said that watching WWE Network in Canada requires a Rogers cable subscription. But iTunes seems to allow a subscription via AppleTV. Does that mean that my iTunes subscription won't allow me to watch WWE Network even though it will take my money?

Just try it and get your $9.99 back if it doesn't work.

The network through the app is much better than what they offered Canadians through Rogers.

I bought the subscription through AppleTV and it works. Rogers says that it shouldn't work as they have exclusive rights to WWE and say that you must have a Rogers cable subscription. Well, it works just fine without any need to pay Rogers (I have Bell internet).

Maybe you should not have said anything - they may be contacting Apple to shut that down...
