    Hi

I recently switched from Firefox to Safari again (latest versions).

I notice that when posting on MR from Firefox, formatting & smilies are presented in WYSIWYG. In Safari, all you see is the vB code until you hit "Preview".

OK, no big deal. But I am curious as to the reason: what specific bit of Web technology is Safari not supporting here?

This issue is the very reason I switched to Firefox.

Okay, so it's not just me then.

But (at the risk of sounding like I'm bumping my post, which actually I am, sorry) what is the actual technology that Safari is failing to support here?

    Cheers
