I gladly pay for Reddit so I don't have to be bombarded with ads.I have yet to see a pure social network worth paying for. I pay for Strava but that is actually useful for something.

Agreed. That's a HORRIBLE look for him and I've always thought it's pretty gross how he tries to market everything like that. Why would anyone pay for Trump Signed Bibles for $1000, Gold Painted Sneakers, Perfume, Ties, Hats, Coins, Posters, Desecrated US Flags, Books, CD... It's their money, they can do whatever they want with it... If MAGA People and non MAGA people want to pay, so be it. It's their money. I think it's incredibly stupid, then again they think I'm stupid so it's best I avoid them. No X for me they can stay there.
I just don't know where you folks are seeing this. I cannot tell you how many people or groups I follow and information and "breaking news" types of events are precisely why I follow them.
If the legacy media would simply do their jobs and present all the information in a non-biased, non-partisan, objective manner, and not bury things that don't fit with "the message", you'd see a lot of social media sites lose their subscribers and users.

Whew, I don't know Rich, you seen the Microsoft Reddit pages?X has replaced Adobe as the company that sends posters into the biggest frenzy for any article with the company name in the title.
Your limited experience doesn’t speak for the majority. He’s absolutely right. It’s a cesspool of tech bros, hatred, and trolling to oppress anyone that is “weak” in their narcissistic minds. Sure there is plenty of corners you can get away from it but Elon uses the platform for his own propaganda. That much is extremely obvious. This has not been my experience. I mostly keep to retro computing and local weather, and that's all I ever see on my feed. Staying out of politics has kept politics away from me.
But it's THEIR ideological bias.People leave Twitter claiming it has an ideological bias and immediately go start a new service that has an ideological bias. Good luck
What new service has an ideological bias?People leave Twitter claiming it has an ideological bias and immediately go start a new service that has an ideological bias. Good luck

Or vice versa. And if you are hand chosen by President Musk and he approves of your viewpoints.
lol.. they will never wake up unfortunately. BUT.. at least it doesnt matter anymore.People leave Twitter claiming it has an ideological bias and immediately go start a new service that has an ideological bias. Good luck

If you think X is the only media site that contains or promotes propaganda and misinformation, please let me introduce you to the legacy media, who for decades have dealt in both and offered it up for free, in the case of some TV networks. There are very few publications or outlets online that are immune from misinformation or propaganda from either political side, which is why everyone needs to be skeptical of what they believe and do their own homework. It also doesn't hurt to read content from "the other side", to get a different perspective on issues.People pay to get misinformation and propaganda? Wow, I’m glad I’m not on X.

Or maybe like the entirety of the legacy media that covered up Biden's mental deficiencies for the last few years? Maybe it was also like that same media that lied about Hunter Biden and intentionally buried a legitimate news story that many voters later said would have caused them to change their vote in the 2020 election away from Biden. It also could have been the suppression of COVID-19 data and information and banning people or labeling them some derogatory term for producing information regarding the dangers hidden within the "vaccines" and their complete lack of effectiveness, in many cases, while parroting the lie that they prevented you from getting the virus. You mean like Fox and their $787 million defamation settlement?
