What makes the X lighter than the 8 Plus? I looked through the specs, but don't see anything special that the 8 Plus has that the X doesn't to make it so much heavier especially since the X is larger.

X - 6.14 ounces (174 grams)
8 Plus - 7.13 ounces (202 grams)

Lets have a look at this image... 8plus is the biggest, so it's the heaviest. X is in the middle, so it's the "middle weight", iphone 8 (non-plus) is the smaller one, so is it's also the lighter...

pretty straight forward

Physically smaller.

Looking forward to the size of the X. Looks perfect.

X look good but smaller than 8Plus
so who using 4.7 hand is perfect plan

Even despite the size difference.

I'd have expected the weight/density of the X with it's steel structure to catch up or surpass the weight of the aluminum 8Plus. *shrug*. Just mildly interesting.
