X not showing notifications

that my 7 plus does. Seems to be news headline stories, cnn, ny times, USA Today. All settings are the same. What am I doing wrong? I am also missing the plus size, for me it may be better. Been a few days, anyone else experience this?

if you have your notifications set to only show when the phone is unlock, your notifications wont show unless face id detects your face. if you want to disable this to always show notifications, go to settings then notifications then set to always. hope this helps!
