Is it normal that it is taking 2+ hours to install disc one of X-Plane 9 in Windows XP on my new octocore mac pro with 8800GT graphics.😕

If you're loading the entire world scene files then yea, I'm not surprised at the time. It took ages when I installed it on OSX - not sure it was 2 hours for one disc though.
