X-Plane OS

I have both Windows & OS X on my MacPro. Right now I fly Xplane on OS X and FSX in windows. Is there any performance gain to xplane if I run it in windows? Right now I am happy with the frame rates but the controls seem a bit sluggish.

I've always played XPlane on the MacOS however, it might be a good question for the simulations author Austin Meyers at X-Plane.com.
