"Coming in hot" means an aircraft is at risk of crashing.

Actually, not really. coming in hot in aviation terms means merely too fast or higher than landing speed, possible on the reckless side. In military aviation terms it can me weapons hot (ready to fire with safeties off) or in firing mode. I'm not concerned at all when a pilot or controller says "he's coming in hot"

Actually, all of the Atlanta area stores showed availability for several hours this AM (from around 7:00 until sometime in mid morning. I was checking frequently while doing the internal "do I really need to spend this money?" debate until fate took it out of my hands around 10:30 or so.

I have my X, however, still on the fence if to return it, and simply use my 8 Plus. Even more so at $1400...!?!
