Your opinions....

Does it make sense to upgrade from the X to the XS? Are their any real world advantage of the XS over the X?

- dual SIM
- beautiful gold finish
thats about it. but it may be enough if you want both of these.

The X vs XS
  • IP67 vs IP68
  • Advanced LTE vs Gigabyte LTE
  • A11 vs A12 Bionic chip (15% faster)
  • 3GB RAM vs 4GB RAM
  • Single SIM vs Dual SIM
  • Selfie 30FPS vs 60 FPS at 1080p
  • Pixel size on sensor 1.2 micro meters vs 1.4 micro meters for better low light pics.
The XS has :
  • 30 mins more battery life
  • Slightly faster FaceID
  • Gold finish
The X has stopped being sold at Apple. If your buying new, go with XS hands down.

If you can find an X being sold personally on sale around $700 or less, then the X might be worth it.

If you already own an X, XS is not that much of an upgrade you’ll miss out on IMO. The X is still a beast, not like it got slower and about to get performance boost with iOS12 too. iphones will emulate the X’s swipe gestures with no home button, so it’s not like the X is going to become outdated like iPhones with a home button are.

Thanks.

Most of this is really not a “OMG I gotta get this!” Type upgrade for me. I’ll wait until the XI comes out.
