This is almost offtopic?

I want to run a browser on OSX and export the display to a linux box. I can run xterm via ssh -X but I couldn't find a browser yet that works. Any recommendations? I've tried Chrome and X11 via homebrew but they both look to be non X11 - the osx versions.

Seems like a lot of bother to go through when you can do it with desktop sharing turned on. It is by default encrypted by a vnc connection and you have access to the entire machine/any program on it and it is not like vnc is a resource hog either it is nice and light on the machines involved in the connection.

I found VNC is unusably slow even over a very fast wifi connection.

ssh -X -e xterm
is way faster but I can't find a browser for osx that can connect to an xserver...

I might even use virtualisation or docker... I'd prefer not to have to do that... it's a lot to learn
