When I use x1900xt on Bootcamp, does it get performance boost by updating its graphic driver by going to http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html ? Or, that is going to screw everything up?

I use ATI's drivers for the PC x1900 because they're more up to date.

I could be wrong, but I'm sure the mac version is the same thing.

    don't do this!

If you have x1900xt and mac pro, using Vista. Do NOT update the video card driver by visiting ATI homepage. Vista stopped working. I mean after restart, Vista did not even start up but gave me a black screen. I had to reinstall Vista again.

I am not sure if this happened to other people but I personally don't recommend it. :(
