True, but the post I replied to was talking about building a PC.

The X3000 will be a nice upgrade on the Mac mini as well as the MacBooks once the Santa Rosa chipset is released.

He means to sell his MacBook and buy a new one. You won't be able to buy an upgrade for the MacBook and plug a new graphics chip into it. The intel graphics chip is integrated into the chipset on the motherboard.

Still skint, but this gives me a nice figure to work towards.

£100 for a 1.86Mhz DC2 with 4MB cache (there out later this year) and another £100 for Ram gives a rough figure of £300 for a big upgrade over what i'm running now.

Shame its only VGA and not DVI, but you can't have everything.

What are you saying?! I've lost like 25 pounds since then! 🙂

I've been told that my name is English coming from "well on the down" or the "spring on the hill." I got it from my grandfather and I rather like it. Pretty unusual here in the States.

I should've asked if there are any cool tourist trinkets from the village. Maybe there's a pub with bar coasters or something. Hook me up! 😉
 
Got drunk with some friends once at the village pub and nicked some traffic bollards, walked home flashing cars with the lamp on top.

I am too. Well, at least for my Mom. She is going to get a MacBook and personally I would buy this generation, but the only reason I am waiting is because I don't want to have to pay for Leopard 😀
