Xamarin Support: Official Apple position?

Hello All,

Has Apple published an official position on their support of Xamarin?

"Create iOS, Android, Mac and Windows apps in C#."

Seems like a great idea, especially for a C# dev, but I can't see Apple being too thrilled about it.

I searched around but can't seem to find anything out there.
