XBMC Audio Problems!

So I finally picked up my quad core mini and really enjoy it minus the Remote Desktop issue I posted another thread on and NOW HDMI audio in XBMC. I have the audio set to play through the tv and it works while using flash videos etc. however open up XBMC to play a video and its just a loud screeching. I've gone through the XBMC menu and made sure everything was changed to HDMI. Any ideas?

Had the same issue.

Start playing a movie.
Bottom right on screen click on the volume icon.
Change audio output to analog.

Seemed to do the trick for me 😀

Yeah I went through all the settings and finally got it working. Nothing like having XBMC and a 24/7 plex server 🙂

You probably try to play a DTS movie where your TV cannot decode that.

Nope, had to change some audio settings in XBMC and everything works great now 🙂
