I'm not sure if this thread is in the correct place but ill give it a shot.
So currently i have installed both the drivers for the Xbox 360 wired controller as well as GamePad Companion to attempt to use my controller on my iMac running Lion OS X, with games such as Call of Duty 4 & Dirt 3 but not success with either. I have even tried to manually configure the buttons (w/ GamePad C.) and that way i can get SOME of the buttons working, but no luck with the triggers, or any of the buttons with multiple values (such as A being for select as well as jump)
and on top of this after i remove the controller from the USB port, im not sure if my computer exactly freezes (because music continues to play) but both my keyboard and mouse will stop working, and i have to manually reset my iMac to get them to work again.
any help or opinions on this topic ? or should i just leave the xbox controller to the xbox haha ?
