Trust me, with the exception of their software department, M$ are frickin' saints compared to Sony. Rootkits, showing complete disregard for their customers and calling them stupid, doctoring figures to their hearts content, slagging off other consoles publicly... There is a reason why I'm never buying another Sony product

Again, you're part of the group who doesn't Understand that it was SONY BMG and NOT Sony CE that distributed the rootkits. They are two totally seperate divisions of the company. Therfor your hatred, that may be justified, is not channeled to the party responsible.

As for the 360 being "crap" because a few consoles crashed/didn't power on. I would say this is a bit of an exagerration. Given that the system is made of man-made componants, it's not guarenteed to be 100% working. The 13 friends I ahve who have 360's have NEVER had a problem. Not a single crash or glitch reported by any of them.

I can think of 8 people, besides myself, that have a 360 that I know directly/indirectly. None of them have a problem. Even with a 5% failure rate I'd expect someone to have an issue.

Of course, my local news station ran a report a few days after the launch about Microsoft's "recall" of the system. No, the media is never wrong.
