Xbox Live Account Hacked

Well simply I believe someone found out my password, changed it and put my account on their 360. I called the people at xbox and they didn't really help me, their system sucks basically and I can't use my gmail account because it supposedly isn't linked to my id even though it is my alternate account.

Basically what can I do about a hacked account, I want to email kotaku/joystiq to see if they can help what are their emails?

There's been a lot of that going around lately. No one's really made any headway in getting it resolved, unfortunately.

How did they get your password?

I think they got my password by the free ms points scam.... :/ stupid me

Have you tried to do the forgot password trick to get your account back. Then just reimport your live account. Oh, if you have a CC attached to your live account I would seriously consider canceling it, or telling the CC company that someone stole your CC info.

I tried to reset my password but no luck because the stupid resetting password emails never get to my email..... and luckily i dont have a CC 😀
